The Little Things in Life..

Hello everyone! I don't have a typical beauty(ish) post today, it's more of a peek into my life kinda post. I've recently been poorly, with.. Well, the doctors said a cold but it's not a cold, I had a sore throat and really bad ear ache, to the point where my whole head would just be throbbing and I'd constantly be tired and sore and moody and not really sure what to do with myself.

What makes matters worse is I've had this ear ache on and off for about a week and it still hasn't shifted, and now I have some sort of stomach bug where my stomach is like NOPE to everything I eat. Typical me getting sick a couple of weeks before I go back to Uni!

Anyway, you are probably wondering 'why the flowers Hannah?' Well, my lovely boyfriend came over for dinner and brought me round flowers for feeling poorly and for my Mum because she was making us all her famous spag bol! So I just kinda thought the next day, why not take pictures of the flowers? It's nice to take pictures of what makes you happy, so if you are ever looking back you can smile and remember (in my case) that this is the first time my boyfriend has bought me flowers, and they are beautiful :)

So.. I don't really know what the point of this post was.. Except for take pictures of things that make you happy, take pictures of happy memories and happy times so if you are ever sad, down, stressed, anxious, angry.. Or you just want a reason to smile, you can look back and see the pictures you took and remember those memories, and without realising you'll be smiling from ear to ear.

I'll leave you with about ten billion pictures of my flowers now (they are pretty though so they deserve this many photos) and I'll have a new blog post up in 2 days :)

Have a lovely day and don't stop smiling :)

Hannah, xx

(Commence picture overload..)

  2. I always take photos when I receive flowers - extremely rare but I received a few bunches this year. What a wonderful, thoughtful boyfriend though! Hope you feel better soon though, earache is never fun. When I'm feeling off I always stick to eating a very basic soup, water with a bit of salt, onion, carrots and potatoes - overcooked so a bit mushy usually with a bit of bread, it's the only thing I can keep down when I feel off, I'd recommend it if you're still feeling off so you can get some nutrients in! Take care!
