Dream Day Style Challenge with Loverly!

Now, it can't just be me that has had many discussions with my friends over my future wedding/perfect dress/magical day/future husband.. Right?! I have to admit, I've probably had one too many conversations - but I can't help it! I'm pretty sure every girl that wants to get married has thought about their perfect dress, their venue, the first song they dance too.. Or maybe that's just me again.

However, today we are going to be discussing just that - weddings! I was recently contacted by the lovely people at Loverly who challenged me to create a collage of my perfect wedding in a specific location. Loverly is a website designed to make planning your wedding super simple - it literally has everything you need and want, from your dress, to the wine glasses you can use! The whole idea of it is to inspire you and give you ideas for your wedding, and if you like what you see, then you can buy it!

Now, as I said, the people at Loverly have challenged me to create a collage of my perfect wedding in a specific location - I had the choice of city glam, rustic chic or beach affair. This was actually a really hard decision for me, one because I'm extremely indecisive anyway, and two because I thought way too much about it, to the point where I was thinking what the weather would be like in all three locations and what happened if it rained.. However eventually I chose beach affair, as I actually live right by a beach and so it would remind me of being at home, no matter where in the world I was. Just saying, in Scotland it rains 99% of the time, and I want that beach wedding to be warm and, well, rainless!

I've always loved classic, simple dresses and I think this is why this dress stood out to me. It's a simple, lace dress that emphasises your figure and looks very comfortable, which is important, especially on your wedding day. The lace detailing is just to die for, and I love how it fans out at the bottom and has a little train - that detail is a must for my wedding dress! For me, less is more (most of the time), so my hair would either be down with nice natural waves or up in a messy bun, and either way the little flower clips would look great, they are so subtle but still add so much. Now, I know I just said less is more.. But guys. Those shoes?! Now, realistically, would I actually be able to wear them on a beach - probably not. But they'd be great any other time!

So, I know I just said about those shoes but.. These flat shoes would be perfect for somewhere like the beach - and super comfy too! I also just have major hair envy, I love the messy bun and the fact it has plaits running through it - I couldn't not add it in! Also, I love the 1920's hairband effect with the flower and how it's wrapped round the bun, I've never seen anything like that before and I think it's so unique!

I hope you all enjoyed reading this post, it's a little different from me but honestly I had so much fun choosing the dress, shoes and hair accessories.. I'm not kidding when I say I was on Loverly for hours looking at dresses. Again, if you want to check out their website, you can click here to do so - and you can also click here to see their bridal page - it's wedding heaven, honestly.

Have a lovely day, and don't stop smiling. :)

Hannah, xx
